नागलोके च यद् वृत्तं गुणदोषमशेषत: । तच्च सर्वमशेषेण कथयामास पाण्डव:,और नागलोकमें जो गुण-दोषपूर्ण घटनाएँ घटी थीं, उन सबको भी पाण्डुनन्दन भीमने पूर्णरूपसे कह सुनाया
nāgaloke ca yad vṛttaṃ guṇadoṣam aśeṣataḥ | tac ca sarvam aśeṣeṇa kathayāmāsa pāṇḍavaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana said: Whatever had occurred in the realm of the Nāgas—events marked by both merit and fault—Pāṇḍu’s son related all of it completely, leaving nothing unsaid.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical value of complete and truthful reporting: events often contain both merit (guṇa) and fault (doṣa), and responsible narration acknowledges the full complexity without concealment.
Vaiśampāyana reports that Pāṇḍu’s son (contextually Bhīma) recounts in full what transpired in Nāgaloka, including all aspects—good and bad—of the events that occurred there.
