Educational Q&A

The verse highlights dharma as social responsibility: in significant rites, ministers, relatives, and friends show up to support and witness, expressing loyalty, affection, and proper public decorum.

A palanquin, richly decorated with garlands and expensive garments, is prepared and displayed; the king’s circle—ministers, kin, and friends—assemble around it to attend the event formally.
