तव व्विदं मतं मत्वा प्रयतिष्याम्यतः परम्‌ | मन्ये ध्रुवं मयोक्ता सा वचन प्रतिपत्स्यते,परंतु आज इस विषयमें तुम्हारी सम्मति जानकर अब मैं इसके लिये प्रयत्न करूँगा। मुझे विश्वास है, मेरे कहनेपर कुन्तीदेवी निश्चय ही मेरी बात मान लेंगी

tava vvidaṃ mataṃ matvā prayatiṣyāmy ataḥ param | manye dhruvaṃ mayoktā sā vacanaṃ pratipatsyate ||

“Having understood your considered opinion, I shall strive all the more from this point onward. I am confident that, when I speak, Kuntī Devī will surely accept my words—she will consent.”
