त्रयस्त्रिंशत्सहस्राणि त्रयस्त्रिंशच्छतानि च । त्रयस्त्रिंशच्च देवानां सृष्टि: संक्षेपलक्षणा,देवताओंकी सृष्टि संक्षेपसे तैंतीस हजार, तैंतीस सौ और तैंतीस लक्षित होती है

Transliteration

trayastrīṁśatsahasrāṇi trayastrīṁśacchatāni ca | trayastrīṁśacca devānāṁ sṛṣṭiḥ saṁkṣepalakṣaṇā ||

Translation

In brief, the creation—or reckoning—of the gods is marked by the number “thirty-three”: spoken of as thirty-three thousand, thirty-three hundred, and also as thirty-three, thus conveying in condensed form the traditional count of the divine orders.
