अध्याय 91: अरिष्ट-लक्षण, मृत्यु-संस्कार, पाशुपत-धारणा तथा ओङ्कार-उपासना
मात्रा चार्धं च तिस्रस्तु विज्ञेयाः परमार्थतः तत्प्रयुक्तस्तु यो योगी तस्य सालोक्यमाप्नुयात्
mātrā cārdhaṃ ca tisrastu vijñeyāḥ paramārthataḥ tatprayuktastu yo yogī tasya sālokyamāpnuyāt
In the highest sense, one should truly understand the three measures (mātrā-s) and the half-measure. The yogin who applies that discipline of measured sacred utterance attains sālokya—dwelling in the same divine realm as Lord Śiva, the Pati who liberates the bound paśu from pāśa.

It links outer devotion to inner discipline: correct, measured mantra-recitation (mātrā and half-mātrā) refines the worshipper’s consciousness, making Linga-pūjā a yogic means toward Śiva’s realm (sālokya).
Śiva is implied as Pati—the Lord whose sphere is attainable when the pashu (individual soul) practices the right saṃskāra of mantra and yoga, loosening pāśa (bondage) through disciplined application.
