Adhyaya 70: आदिसर्गः—महत्-अहङ्कार-तन्मात्रा-भूतसृष्टिः, ब्रह्माण्डावरणम्, प्रजासर्गः, त्रिमूर्ति-शैवाधिष्ठानम्
तस्मिन्नण्डे इमे लोका अन्तर्विश्वमिदं जगत् चन्द्रादित्यौ सनक्षत्रौ सग्रहौ सह वायुना
tasminnaṇḍe ime lokā antarviśvamidaṃ jagat candrādityau sanakṣatrau sagrahau saha vāyunā
Within that cosmic Egg (Aṇḍa) are these worlds—this entire inner universe. There too are the Moon and the Sun, along with the constellations and the planets, and with them Vāyu, the moving principle of the vital wind.

It frames the entire cosmos as contained within a single ordered principle (the brahmāṇḍa), supporting the Shaiva view that the Linga signifies the all-containing, all-sustaining Pati (Shiva) beyond and within creation.
By describing the universe as an “inner” cosmos held within the cosmic egg, the verse implies an underlying sustaining Reality; in Shaiva Siddhanta terms, Shiva as Pati is the transcendent support in whom the worlds and their regulators (sun, moon, planets, prana) subsist.
The mention of Vāyu points to prāṇa as a key inner regulator; a Shaiva-Yogic takeaway is prāṇāyāma and prāṇa-samyama as supportive disciplines for stabilizing the pashu (soul) toward Shiva-oriented contemplation.
