अग्नित्रय-पितृवंश-रुद्रसृष्टि-वैराग्योपदेशः

पितरो ऽमृतपाः प्रोक्तास् तेषां चैवेह विस्तरः ऋषीणां च कुलं सर्वं शृणुध्वं तत्सुविस्तरम्

Transliteration

pitaro 'mṛtapāḥ proktās teṣāṃ caiveha vistaraḥ ṛṣīṇāṃ ca kulaṃ sarvaṃ śṛṇudhvaṃ tatsuvistaram

Translation

The Pitṛs are proclaimed as drinkers of amṛta, the nectar of immortality; and here their full account is set forth. Hear also, in complete detail, the entire lineage of the Ṛṣis, so that the sacred transmission may be known without omission.
