pūjayecca yathālābhaṃ tataḥ siddhimavāpsyatha samāhitāḥ pūjayadhvaṃ saputrāḥ saha bandhubhiḥ
Worship the Lord in the form of the Liṅga according to whatever means are at hand; then you shall attain siddhi, spiritual accomplishment. With a mind made steady, perform this worship together with your sons and your kinsmen, so that the paśu, the individual soul, may draw toward the grace of Pati, Śiva, and the pāśa, the bonds, may be loosened.
Suta Goswami (narrating Shiva’s puja-instruction within the Linga Purana discourse)
It teaches that Liṅga-pūjā is valid and fruitful even when performed with limited means; sincerity and steadiness (samāhita-citta) are the real qualifiers, leading to siddhi by Śiva’s grace.
Śiva is implied as Pati—the Lord who grants siddhi when approached through devoted worship; attainment is not merely ritual success but movement toward release from pāśa (bondage) for the pashu (soul).
A simple but potent puja-vidhi: worship according to capacity, done with samāhita (one-pointed, disciplined attention), aligning with Pāśupata-style emphasis on inner composure alongside outer worship.
