FAQs

This verse states that the Pitṛs are propitiated and satisfied through śrāddha performed with devotion, highlighting śrāddha as a direct means of honoring and supporting the ancestral realm.

It presents śrāddha-bhakti as compatible with both goals: practitioners may seek well-being and prosperity while also orienting their actions toward spiritual release.

Perform ancestral remembrance and offerings (or sincere mental dedication when ritual is not possible) with devotion and ethical intention, keeping gratitude to lineage and a liberation-oriented mindset.
