Devotional Hymn and Boon to the Bhargava
yasyā garbhasamudbhavo hyativirāḍyasyāṃśabhūto virāṭ yannābhyaṃburuhodbhavena vidhinaikāntopadiṣṭena vai sṛṣṭaṃ sarvamidaṃ carācaramayaṃ viśvaṃ ca yadromasu brahmāṇḍāni vibhānti tasya jananī śaśvatprasannāstu sā
From her womb arises the transcendent Ativirāṭ, and Virāṭ himself is but her portion. From the lotus of her navel was born the Creator, who—having received the secret, exclusive instruction—fashioned this entire universe of moving and unmoving beings. In the pores of her body countless brahmāṇḍas shine forth; may she, the Mother of that Supreme One, be ever gracious.
