Agastya’s Instruction on Bhakti and Mantra-Siddhi; Descent to Pātāla and the Hearing of Vaiṣṇavī Kathā
चतुर्भिरद्भुतैः सिद्धैः कामरूपैर्मनोजवैः / अनुयातमथोत्प्लुत्य स्त्रीपुंसौ हरिणौ तदा / अगस्त्यचरणौ नत्वा समारुरुहतुर्मुदा
caturbhiradbhutaiḥ siddhaiḥ kāmarūpairmanojavaiḥ / anuyātamathotplutya strīpuṃsau hariṇau tadā / agastyacaraṇau natvā samāruruhaturmudā
Four wondrous siddhas—able to assume forms at will and swift as thought—accompanied them. Then the doe and the stag leapt up, bowed at Agastya’s feet, and joyfully mounted (the vimāna).
