Agastya’s Instruction on Bhakti and Mantra-Siddhi; Descent to Pātāla and the Hearing of Vaiṣṇavī Kathā
निषेव्य भोगानन्ते ऽपिकृष्णासायुज्यमाप्नुयात् / अगस्त्य उवाच एतावदुक्तो भागवाननन्तो मूर्त्तिस्तु संकर्षणसंज्ञिता विभो
niṣevya bhogānante 'pikṛṣṇāsāyujyamāpnuyāt / agastya uvāca etāvadukto bhāgavānananto mūrttistu saṃkarṣaṇasaṃjñitā vibho
Even after tasting worldly enjoyments, in the end he attains sāyujya—union with Kṛṣṇa. Agastya said: having spoken thus much, Bhagavān Ananta, whose form is known as Saṅkarṣaṇa, O Vibhu, fell silent.
