Prahlāda’s Prayers Pacify Lord Nṛsiṁhadeva
Prahlāda-stuti and the Lord’s Benediction Offer
ekas tvam eva jagad etam amuṣya yat tvam ādy-antayoḥ pṛthag avasyasi madhyataś ca sṛṣṭvā guṇa-vyatikaraṁ nija-māyayedaṁ nāneva tair avasitas tad anupraviṣṭaḥ
My dear Lord, You alone manifest Yourself as the entire cosmic manifestation, for You existed before the creation, You exist after the annihilation, and You are the maintainer between the beginning and the end. All this is done by Your external energy through actions and reactions of the three modes of material nature. Therefore whatever exists — externally and internally — is You alone.
As stated in the Brahma-saṁhitā (5.35) :
This verse says the Lord is one reality, but by His own māyā He creates the interaction of the guṇas and is perceived as manifold, while remaining the same Supreme.
After being protected by Nṛsiṁhadeva, Prahlāda offers prayers glorifying the Lord’s supreme position—transcendent to creation yet present within it as the indwelling Lord.
See one divine presence behind changing circumstances: stay steady in devotion, avoid being overwhelmed by the shifting modes, and remember God is both beyond events and present within the heart.
