Nṛsiṁhadeva Appears from the Pillar and Slays Hiraṇyakaśipu
तदा विमानावलिभिर्नभस्तलं दिदृक्षतां सङ्कुलमास नाकिनाम् । सुरानका दुन्दुभयोऽथ जघ्निरे गन्धर्वमुख्या ननृतुर्जगु: स्त्रिय: ॥ ३६ ॥
tadā vimānāvalibhir nabhastalaṁ didṛkṣatāṁ saṅkulam āsa nākinām surānakā dundubhayo ’tha jaghnire gandharva-mukhyā nanṛtur jaguḥ striyaḥ
At that time the sky became crowded with the vimānas of the demigods, eager to behold the deeds of the Supreme Lord Nārāyaṇa. The demigods beat drums and kettledrums, the celestial women danced to their sound, and the leaders of the Gandharvas sang sweetly.
