O King, Sahadeva’s son was Śrutakarmā. Moreover, the Pāṇḍavas had other sons by other wives: Yudhiṣṭhira begot Devaka through Pauravī; Bhīmasena begot Ghaṭotkaca through Hiḍimbā and Sarvagata through Kālī. Likewise, Sahadeva begot Suhotra through Vijayā, the daughter of the king of mountains.
This verse states that Sahadeva’s son was named Śrutakarmā, and indicates there were other descendants as well.
Here it says that by his wife Pauravī, Yudhiṣṭhira had sons named Devaka and Ghaṭotkaca.
These lineages preserve sacred history and show how dharma is carried through generations, helping readers connect teachings to real personalities and eras.
