In that palace, Lord Bhagavān Śrī Rāmacandra, foremost among the learned, dwelt with Śrī Sītā, His beloved pleasure potency, and enjoyed perfect peace.
This verse states that Lord Rāma, though fully self-satisfied and the foremost among steady sages, lovingly enjoyed pastimes with His most cherished consort, Sītā.
It highlights that Rāma’s joy is not born of material dependence—He is complete in Himself—yet He participates in loving, dharmic pastimes to bless the world and teach ideal conduct.
Practice dharmic relationships rooted in affection and fidelity, while cultivating inner contentment through devotion—seeing love as service rather than consumption.
