एता भगवतो विष्णोरादित्यस्य विभूतय: । स्मरतां सन्ध्ययोर्नृणां हरन्त्यंहो दिने दिने ॥ ४५ ॥
etā bhagavato viṣṇor ādityasya vibhūtayaḥ smaratāṁ sandhyayor nṝṇāṁ haranty aṁho dine dine
All these are vibhūtis—glorious manifestations—of Bhagavān Viṣṇu as the sun-god. For those who remember them each day at dawn and at sunset, they remove sinful reactions day after day.
It says that remembering Lord Viṣṇu—especially as the Sun (Āditya)—at the two sandhyās (dawn and dusk) removes a person’s sinful reactions day by day.
In the concluding teachings of the Bhāgavata, Śukadeva highlights simple, powerful devotional remembrance practices that purify the heart—especially important for Parīkṣit, who had limited time and sought the essence of spiritual life.
At sunrise and sunset, pause briefly to remember Viṣṇu (or chant His names), offer gratitude, and set a pure intention—making daily life a steady practice of purification.
