Kṛṣṇa Visits Indraprastha; Kuntī’s Remembrance; Kālindī and Further Marriages
श्रुत्वैतद् रुरुधुर्भूपा नयन्तं पथि कन्यकाम् । भग्नवीर्या: सुदुर्मर्षा यदुभिर्गोवृषै: पुरा ॥ ५३ ॥
śrutvaitad rurudhur bhūpā nayantaṁ pathi kanyakām bhagna-vīryāḥ su-durmarṣā yadubhir go-vṛṣaiḥ purā
Hearing this, the intolerant kings—whose prowess had earlier been broken by the bull-like Yadu heroes—tried to stop Śrī Kṛṣṇa on the road as He led His bride home; but the Yadus shattered their strength once again.
Because they heard the maiden was being taken away and, driven by wounded pride and rivalry, they tried to block the path and challenge the Yadus.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī is narrating the events to King Parīkṣit.
It warns that injured ego and intolerance can push people into needless conflict; cultivating humility and self-control prevents destructive reactions.
