Kṛṣṇa Arrives at Kuṇḍina and Abducts Rukmiṇī
Rukmiṇī-haraṇa Prelude
तस्या आवेदयत् प्राप्तं शशंस यदुनन्दनम् । उक्तं च सत्यवचनमात्मोपनयनं प्रति ॥ ३० ॥
tasyā āvedayat prāptaṁ śaśaṁsa yadu-nandanam uktaṁ ca satya-vacanam ātmopanayanaṁ prati
The brāhmaṇa informed her that Lord Yadunandana, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, had arrived, and he conveyed the Lord’s truthful promise to marry her.
This verse states that her messenger truthfully conveyed to Śrī Kṛṣṇa that he had arrived and delivered Rukmiṇī’s sincere request that Kṛṣṇa accept her as His bride.
Because her appeal was sincere and direct—spoken without deceit—expressing her genuine surrender and request for Kṛṣṇa to take her.
It highlights truthful communication and sincere intention—especially in matters of commitment—along with the bhakti principle of approaching the Lord with heartfelt honesty.
