The Killing of Keśī and Vyomāsura; Nārada’s Prophetic Praise of Kṛṣṇa
tvām īśvaraṁ svāśrayam ātma-māyayā vinirmitāśeṣa-viśeṣa-kalpanam krīḍārtham adyātta-manuṣya-vigrahaṁ nato ’smi dhuryaṁ yadu-vṛṣṇi-sātvatām
I bow to You, O Īśvara, the supreme controller who depends only upon Yourself. By Your own ātma-māyā You have fashioned the limitless particular arrangements of this universe. Now, for the sake of līlā, You have assumed a human form, becoming the foremost hero among the Yadus, Vṛṣṇis, and Sātvatas, and You take part in human warfare.
This verse says Kṛṣṇa assumes a humanlike body for krīḍā—His divine pastimes—while remaining the independent Supreme Lord.
Ariṣṭāsura, the bull demon, addresses Kṛṣṇa, acknowledging Him as the Supreme Controller who manifests creation by His own māyā.
Remembering that Kṛṣṇa is fully independent helps a devotee rely less on anxiety and more on surrender, offering actions and outcomes to Him.
