Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: The cowherd boys then told the women of Vṛndāvana in full detail the wondrous deeds of Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma—how they were delivered from the forest fire and how the demon Pralamba was slain.
This verse highlights that the gopas were rescued from a raging forest fire by the wondrous act of Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma, showing Bhagavān’s protective grace over His devotees.
Because these events were extraordinary Vraja pastimes of Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma; the gopas shared them with the gopīs, who relish hearing the Lord’s līlās and His protection of His companions.
Remembering and speaking about the Lord’s protecting pastimes strengthens faith during crises and encourages devotees to take shelter of Kṛṣṇa while sharing uplifting spiritual narratives with others.
