Thereafter Dhruva Mahārāja dwelt in his father’s most splendid palace, adorned with clusters of priceless jewels. His affectionate father cared for him with special attention, and Dhruva lived there like the demigods in their celestial abodes.
This verse says Dhruva lived in a magnificent jewel-adorned palace and was lovingly cared for by his father, enjoying comforts like a resident of heaven.
After Dhruva’s spiritual greatness became evident, Uttanapada’s heart softened and he deeply cherished his son, honoring him and caring for him intimately.
Even while living amid comfort, one can remain grounded in devotion—receiving care and prosperity without losing spiritual focus or gratitude.
