Aditi’s Lament and Kaśyapa’s Instruction of the Payo-vrata (Milk Vow) to Please Keśava

bhuñjīta tair anujñātaḥ seṣṭaḥ śeṣaṁ sabhājitaiḥ brahmacāry atha tad-rātryāṁ śvo bhūte prathame ’hani

Having duly honored the venerable brāhmaṇas who were fed, and taking their permission, one should partake of the remaining prasāda with friends and relatives. That night one must observe strict brahmacarya; and the next morning, bathing again in purity and steady attention, one should bathe Lord Viṣṇu’s Deity with milk and worship Him by the method previously described, until the vow is concluded.
