Sukta 2
अस्मै मृत्यो अधि ब्रूहीमं दयस्वोदितो३यमेतु । अरिष्टः सर्वाङ्गः सुश्रुज्जरसा शतहायन आत्मना भुजमश्नुताम्
asmái mṛ́tyo ádhi brūhīmáṃ dayasvóditaḥ ayám etu | áriṣṭaḥ sárvāṅgaḥ suśrúj járasā śatáhāyana ātmánā bhújam aśnutām ||
For this man, O Death, pronounce thou; have pity—let him, arisen, go his way. Unharmed, whole-limbed, of good hearing, let him by old age attain a hundred years, and with his very self enjoy his portion.
