Sukta 73
घर्मः। समिद्धो अग्निर्वृषणा रथी दिवस्तप्तो घर्मो दुह्यते वामिषे मधु । वयं हि वां पुरुदमासो अश्विना हवामहे सधमादेषु कारवः
gharmáḥ | samíddho agnír vṛ́ṣaṇā rathī divás tápto gharmó dúhyate vām iṣé mádhu | vayáṃ hí vāṃ purudámāso aśvinā havā́mahe sadhamā́deṣu kārávaḥ
The Gharma. Kindled is Agni; O ye two Bulls, the chariot-rider: from heaven the heated Gharma is drawn forth for you, for refreshment—sweet as honey. For we, the much-prevailing singers, O Aśvins, do invoke you at the common feasts.
Rishi: Traditionally Atharvanic/Angirasa attribution for AV collections; specific r̥ṣi for this sukta requires edition-specific anukramaṇī confirmation.
Devata: Aśvins (Nasatyas), with Agni as ritual mediator; Gharma as personified offering-power.
Chandas: Predominantly Triṣṭubh-like cadence (to be confirmed by metrical scan of each pāda in the Saunaka text).
