Sukta 62
शत्रुनाशनम्। अयमग्निः सत्पतिर्वृद्धवृष्णो रथीव पत्तीनजयत् पुरोहितः । नाभा पृथिव्यां निहितो दविद्युतदधस्पदं कृणुतां ये पृतन्यवः
ayám agníḥ sátpatiḥ vṛddhávṛṣṇo rathī́va pattī́n ajayat puróhitaḥ | nā́bhā pṛthivyā́ṁ nihitó davídyutat adhaḥpadáṁ kṛṇutā́ṁ yé pṛtanyávaḥ
This Agni, lord of the good, strong as a full-grown bull, as a chariot-warrior hath conquered the footmen, set in front as Purohita. Planted at earth’s navel he hath flashed abroad: let the battle-mongers make their station underfoot.
