Immortality. What lapse of memory we have committed—any, even the least—O Agni, in overpassing due measure in our course, O Jātavedas; from that do thou protect us, O Foreknowing: for auspicious ends, for our friends, let immortality be ours.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (attribution varies by anukramaṇī; commonly Atharvan/Angiras-type for Agni-śānti material)
Devata: Agni (Jātavedas, Prācetas)
Chandas: Triṣṭubh-like cadence (mixed; requires metrical verification against pada count)
