sómaḥ vīrúdʰām ádʰipatiḥ sá mā́vatu | asmín bráhmaṇy asmín kármaṇy asyā́m puródʰāyām asyā́m pratíṣṭʰāyām asyā́m cíttyām asyā́m ākū́tyām asyā́m āśíṣi asyā́m deváhūtyāṁ svā́hā
Soma, the Lord of plants, let him protect me: in this holy spell, in this rite; in this fore-placing, in this firm establishment; in this intent, in this purposed will; in this blessing, in this calling of the Gods—Svāhā!
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (specific ṛṣi attribution varies by anukramaṇī for this refrain-type sequence).
Devata: Soma (as vīrudhām adhipati).
Chandas: Predominantly Anuṣṭubh-like cadence; effectively a litany/refrain with enumerative locatives.
