agnír vanaspátīnā́m ádhipatiḥ sá mā́ avatu | asmín bráhmaṇy asmín kármaṇy asyā́m purodhā́yām asyā́m pratíṣṭhāyām asyā́m cittiyā́m asyā́m ākū́tyām asyā́m āśíṣy asyā́m devahū́tyāṁ svā́hā
Agni, overlord of the Lords of the Wood, let him protect me. In this holy utterance, in this operation; in this fore-setting, in this establishment; in this ordered piling, in this intent; in this blessing, in this calling of the Gods—Svāhā!
Rishi: Atharvanic/Aṅgirasa tradition (sūkta-level attribution varies by anukramaṇī; not securely inferable from the single verse alone)
Devata: Agni as अधिपति of वनस्पति
Chandas: Predominantly Anuṣṭubh-like cadence with extended litany (prose-like enumerative tail)
