उप श्रेष्ठा न आशिषो देवयोर्धामन्नस्थिरन्। स्तौमि देवं सवितारं च वायुं तौ नो मुञ्चतमंहसः
IAST Transliteration
úpa śréṣṭhā na āśíṣo deváyor dhā́man asthiran | stáumi deváṁ savitā́raṁ ca vāyúṁ táu no muñcatam áṁhasaḥ ||
English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)
Near to us have stood the best benedictions, in the seat of the two gods. I praise the god Savitar and Vāyu: do ye release us from distress.
