हस्ती मृगाणां सुषदामतिष्ठावान् बभूव हि। तस्य भगेन वर्चसाभि षिञ्चामि मामहम्
hastī́ mṛgā́ṇāṃ suṣádām atiṣṭhā́vān babhū́va hí | tásya bhagéna várcasā́bhí ṣiñcāmi mām ahám |
The Elephant, verily, hath stood above the beasts, above them that are firmly set. With his good fortune, with his lustre, do I besprinkle—yea, I anoint—myself.
