प्रैणान् नुदे मनसा प्र चित्तेनोत ब्रह्मणा । प्रैणान् वृक्षस्य शाखयाश्वत्थस्य नुदामहे
prá enān nudé mánasā prá citténóta bráhmaṇā | prá enān vṛkṣásya śā́khayāśvatthásya nudāmahe
Forth do I thrust them, with mind, forth with intent, and also with the sacred spell; forth do we thrust them with a branch of the tree, even of the Aśvattha.
