इन्द्राय साम गायत विप्राय बृहते बृहत्। धर्मकृते विपश्चिते पनस्यवे
índrāya sā́ma gāyata víprāya bṛhaté bṛhát | dharmá-kṛte vipaś-cíte panasyáve ||
Sing ye a Sāman unto Indra—unto the inspired, the great, a lofty strain—unto the maker of Order, the far-seeing, the admirable.
