वयमु त्वामपूर्व्य स्थूरं न कच्चिद् भरन्तोऽवस्यवः । वाजे चित्रं हवामहे
vayám u tvā́m apū́rvya sthū́raṃ ná kaccíd bháranto ’vasyávaḥ | vā́je citráṃ havāmahe
We, craving succour, bearing our gifts, invoke thee indeed, O Unrivalled, the Stout—like none that is anywhere—for splendid aid in the winning of the prize.
