Sukta 17
उज्जायतां परशुज्योतिषा सह भूया ऋतस्य सुदुघा पुराणवत्। वि रोचतामरुषो भानुना शुचिः स्व१र्ण शुक्रं शुशुचीत सत्पतिः
úd jāyatāṃ paraśú-jyótiṣā sahá bhūyā́ ṛtásya su-dúghā purāṇá-vat | ví rocatām aruṣó bhā́nunā śúciḥ svárṇaṃ śukráṃ śuśucīta sát-patíḥ
Let it arise, with cleaving light therewith; be once again, as of old, the well-milking cow of ṛta. Let the ruddy one shine far and wide with beam, the pure; gold-bright, splendid, hath the lord of the good made himself to gleam.
