अपेन्द्र प्राचो मघवन्नमित्रानपापाचो अभिभूते नुदस्व । अपोदीचो अप शूराधराच उरौ यथा तव शर्मन् मदेम

ápéndra prā́co maghavann amítrān ápapā́co abhíbhūte nudásva | ápódī́co ápa śūrādharā́c ca uráu yáthā táva śárman mádem

Away, O Indra, drive the eastern foes away, O Maghavan; as Overpowerer thrust them forth. Away the western, away the northern; away, O Hero, those from beneath, that in thy wide protection we may dwell rejoicing.
