Let the cooked oblation, furnished with cake and rich in milk, sit down here. We sacrifice unto the World-makers, the Path-makers—those who, of the Gods, possess a share in the offered gift—be ye here present.

Devata: Lokakṛt/Pathikṛt powers (a class of invoked recipients; often treated as divine/ancestral order-establishers)
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh (predominant cadence; with Atharvanic stylistic variation)
