Sukta 2
अश्वावतीं प्र तर या सुशेवार्क्षाकं वा प्रतरं नवीयः । यस्त्वा जघान वध्यः सो अस्तु मा सो अन्यद् विदत भागधेयम्
aśvā́vatīṃ prá tara yā́ suśévārkṣā́kaṃ vā pratáraṃ návīyaḥ | yás tvā jaghā́na vádhyaḥ só astu mā́ só anyád vidat bhāgadhéyam ||
Cross thou forth the horse-rich passage, the kindly one—or the perilous wolfish crossing, the newer ford. He who smote thee down, let him be for slaying; let him not win any other allotted share.
