यमाय मधुमत्तमं जुहोता प्र च तिष्ठत । इदं नम ऋषिभ्यः पूर्वजेभ्यः पूर्वेभ्यः पथिकृद्भ्यः

IAST Transliteration

yamā́ya mádhumattamaṃ juhótā prá ca tiṣṭhata | idáṃ náma ṛ́ṣibhyaḥ pūrvajébhyaḥ pū́rvebhyaḥ pathikṛ́dbhyaḥ

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

For Yama offer ye the most honey-sweet, and stand ye forth in readiness. This reverence be to the seers, to the fore-born, to the former ones, the makers of the path.
