अङ्गादङ्गाद् वयमस्या अप यक्ष्मं नि दध्मसि । तन्मा प्रापत् पृथिवीं मोत देवान् दिवं मा प्रापदुर्व१न्तरिक्षम्। अपो मा प्रापन्मलमेतदग्ने यमं मा प्रापत् पितॄंश्च सर्वान्
aṅgā́d-aṅgā́d vayám asyā́ ápa yákṣmaṃ ní dadhmasi | tán mā́ prā́pat pṛthivī́ṃ mótá devā́n diváṃ mā́ prā́pad urv àntárikṣam | apó mā́ prā́pan málam etád agne yámam mā́ prā́pat pitṝ́ṃś ca sárvān ||
From limb to limb of her we lay the wasting sickness down and away. Let it not come unto me; let it not reach the Earth, nor yet the Gods; let it not reach Heaven, nor the wide Mid-air. Let not the Waters be reached by this defilement, O Agni; let it not come unto Yama, nor unto all the Fathers.
