अहं पचाम्यहं ददामि ममेदु कर्मन्करुणेऽधि जाया। कौमारो लोको अजनिष्ट पुत्रो३न्वारभेथां वय उत्तरावत्
aháṁ pacāmy aháṁ dadāmi mámed u kárman karuṇé ’dhi jāyā́ | kaumāró lokó ajanīṣṭa putró ’nvārabhēthāṁ váya uttarā́vat
I cook, I give: my work indeed, O kindly one, rests in the wife’s charge. The youthful estate hath been brought to birth—a son: do ye two take hold of him; may our life-force be the more advancing.
