अन्येभ्यस्त्वा पुरुषेभ्यो गोभ्यो अश्वेभ्यस्त्वा । निः क्रव्यादं नुदामसि यो अग्निर्जीवितयोपनः
anyébhyaḥ tvā púruṣebhyo góbhyo áśvebhyas tvā | níḥ kravyā́daṃ nudāmasi yó agnír jīvitayópanāḥ ||
From other men, from cattle, from horses—from them we guard thee: the flesh-eater we drive forth, even Agni who draws near with life.
