प्रम्रियमाणे वा राजन्यमात्यः कुल्यकुमारमुख्यान्परस्परं मुख्येषु वा विक्रमयेत् ॥ कZ_०५.६.२५ ॥

Transliteration

pramriyamāṇe vā rājanyamātyaḥ kulyakumāra-mukhyān parasparaṃ mukhyeṣu vā vikramayet

Translation

When the king is dying, a royal minister should set the principal collateral princes and leading nobles against one another, or make them contend with other leading men, so that none can consolidate a single claim.
