प्रकृतिष्वरूढः सुखमुच्छेत्तुं भवतीति ॥ कZ_०८.२.१८ ॥
prakṛtiṣv arūḍhaḥ sukham ucchettuṃ bhavatīti
One who has not taken firm root among the prakṛtis (the state’s constituent elements) is easily overthrown.
Regime durability depends on being ‘rooted’ in the support of the prakṛtis; without that coalition base, removal is easy.
The key constituent elements of the state—typically including ministers/officials, territory and people, fortified sites, treasury, army, and allies—i.e., the support system that sustains rule.
