‘Outward expression/appearance’ is the apprehension (reading) of one’s form and presentation.
The externally readable presentation (face, posture, composure) through which others infer confidential intent.
iṅgita focuses on behavioral deviation; ākāra focuses on the readable outward demeanor itself as an information channel.
