क्रेतृविक्रेत्रोरन्तरपतितमादायादन्यद्भवति ॥ कZ_०४.२.२४ ॥

Transliteration

kretṛvikretror antarapatitam ādāyād anyad bhavati

Translation

Taking what has fallen “in between” the buyer and seller (i.e., an intermediary cut/unauthorized margin) constitutes a separate (punishable) offense/irregular gain.
