धर्मावसथिनः पाषण्डिपथिकानावेद्य वासयेयुः स्वप्रत्ययाश्च तपस्विनः श्रोत्रियांश्च ॥ कZ_०२.३६.०५ ॥

Transliteration

dharmāvasathinaḥ pāṣaṇḍipathikān āvedya vāsayeyuḥ svapratyayāś ca tapasvinaḥ śrotriyāṃś ca

Translation

Managers of religious lodging-houses shall accommodate sectarian mendicants (pāṣaṇḍin) and itinerants only after reporting them; likewise, ascetics and Vedic scholars (śrotriya) shall be lodged only when their identity and credentials are personally verified.
