Sutra 30

लुप्तव्यायामः प्रव्रजेदापृच्छ्य धर्मस्थान् ॥ कZ_०२.०१.३० ॥

luptavyāyāmaḥ pravrajed āpṛcchya dharmasthān

One who has lost (or is exempt from) his assigned work-duty may depart into renunciation only after informing/obtaining leave from the dharmasthas (judicial authorities).
