Transliteration

surodakaḥ parivṛtaḥ kuśadvīpena sarvataḥ śālmalasya tu vistārād dviguṇena samantataḥ

Translation

Dieser Ozean der surā umgibt alles ringsum, und überall wird er von Kuśadvīpa umgürtet, dessen Ausdehnung in jeder Richtung doppelt so groß ist wie die von Śālmaladvīpa.
