Indeed, in whatever way the yogin’s power of mind arises with certainty—(there may occur) far-hearing, far-seeing, and likewise going far in an instant; perfection of speech, the ability to assume any form, and also the power of making oneself invisible; by smearing (something) with excrement and urine, iron and the like may become gold; for him there may arise movement in the sky through yoga born of continuous practice. The yogin should always be prudent for the attainment of yogic perfection. These are obstacles to the great attainment; the wise should not delight in them. The lordly yogin should not display his powers to anyone whatsoever.

Moksha (liberation) contrasted with siddhi (occult attainments) as potential distraction; Vairagya (dispassion)Mahavakya: Indirect: cautions against identification with powers (upādhis) and supports turning toward the Self implied by mahāvākya teaching (e.g., ‘tat tvam asi’) rather than siddhi-based ego.Krishna YajurvedaChandas: Mixed/irregular (later Upaniṣadic, largely anuṣṭubh-like śloka cadence)
